TYC Harbour and House Rules
 
HARBOUR RULES

I. When navigating within harbour limits:

a. vessels should leave NO WAKE large enough to disturb or damage other boats, and

b. a good lookout is to be kept at all times, particularly for other boats manoeuvring and/or personnel.

2. Vessels are to be moored in assigned slips such that passageway along the main docks is not obstructed. All lines should be ship shape, no chains attached to bollards and halyards kept quiet.

3. The use of barbecues when alongside a dock, either on board or on a dock, is prohibited.

4. The water carried by the dock lines is potable well water for filling water tanks only, NOT FOR WASHING BOATS.

5. All garbage must be wrapped and placed in the container provided. The dumping of OIL OR ANY OTHER POLLUTANT in the harbour is prohibited.

6. Pets must be on a leash and under control at all times; please strictly observe a policy of cleaning up any mess they may leave behind.

7. Please respect the privacy of others and do not disturb them with loud music or party noise.

HOUSE RULES

1. Members are requested to sign out at the Harbour Master's Office if they are vacating their berths for more than one night.

2. Members may use the kitchen facilities as arranged through the Club Manager or Officer of the Day.

3. A limited number of lockers are available for rent through the Club Manager on a first come first served basis. No flammable products are permitted to be stored in these lockers.

4. Dinghies are to be stowed in such a manner that they do not obstruct the passage of others. A limited number of dinghy racks are available through the Club Manager. Regardless of location, dinghies are to be properly secured and TYC is not liable for loss or damage.
